Delta solves one of crypto’s biggest challenges by creating the perfect balance between autonomy and collaboration. Self-defined as “a network of networks,” it empowers developers to maintain local control while benefiting from global interoperability.
For a company aiming to transform blockchain infrastructure, thevisual identity had to be equally disruptive. “In the world of blockchains,” as Ole Spjeldnæs, Delta’s founder and CEO, said in ourfirst meeting, “there’s not a lot of original branding.”
Our challenge was to break free from tech startup tropes by overusing minimalistic white spaces, and “humanized tech” messaging — without losing the accessibility and innovation that defines delta.
The resulting identity, we believe, reflects delta’s fundamental architecture: a modular, adaptable design system mirroring the flexibility and scalability of their platform. The creative idea is centred around the contrast and interplay between the organic and the digital — as seen in the handwritten/pixelated logo, the mix of rastered and sans typefaces, and the photography style that subtly blends warm human motifs with tech imagery. The result is a bold yet approachable visual language that balances sophisticated technology with clear, human communication.
