Morrow
(Tomorrow Powered by Us)
Morrow Batteries is at the forefront of developing new battery technologies while building one of Norway’s largest and first battery factories.
As a startup with big ambitions, Morrow Batteries is simultaneously working on advancing next-generation technology and constructing one of Europe’s largest battery factories in Arendal. The company has attracted a world-class team of researchers and experts, supported by both national and international financial and political partners.
We have big ambitions and numerous target audiences to address, with messages that are often technically complex. It was crucial for us to get help in clarifying our brand and messaging, and in this process, we wanted to collaborate with an agency strong in strategy, communication, and design, said Naja Boone, Marketing and Communications Director at Morrow Batteries.
Rooted in the process of discovery and its outcomes, the concept is inspired by academic research. It amplifies the nuances of typesetting found in academic journals, lab notebooks, and the visual moments of chaos and order of the lab. The expression feels human, both by its inspiration and execution.
A simple color palette creates energy and attention in purely graphic moments. Translated to photography, it creates a human perspective that feels warm and saturated. It’s an identity that feels tactile, rich, and honest while hinting at the exciting future ahead.
At Bleed, we found a team that is intellectually curious, demonstrates strong business acumen, quickly grasps complex topics, and delivers world-class design. We are very pleased with both the process and the results, Boone added.
The new brand platform underscores Morrow’s role in the transition to sustainable energy production and storage, while also highlighting the company’s unique culture as a hub for talent and expertise from around the globe. Morrow combines Norwegian business culture with cutting-edge international technology and global ambitions, which serves as the foundation for its distinct visual identity.
